Prestressed steel strand is a metal component made up of multiple high-strength steel wires twisted together. After stress relief treatment, it has high tensile strength, low relaxation, and good flexibility. It is the core load-bearing material of prestressed concrete structures.
It generates prestress through pre-tensioning, effectively offsetting the tensile stress of concrete, greatly improving the bearing capacity and durability of bridges, high-speed railways, nuclear power plants, high-rise buildings and other engineering projects. It has the characteristics of convenient construction and high cost-effectiveness, and is an indispensable key material in modern large-scale civil engineering.
