1. Distinguish By Material:
Bright steel wire rope: made of high carbon steel as raw material, with low cost and moderate strength, it is currently the most
widely used type in the industrial field, mostly used in construction, mining, lifting and other scenarios.
Stainless steel wire rope: Made of stainless steel materials such as 304 and 316, it has excellent corrosion resistance and is
suitable for use in humid or corrosive environments such as marine, chemical, and food processing.
Galvanized steel wire rope: Galvanized on the surface of carbon steel wire rope, divided into hot-dip galvanizing and electroplating
galvanizing, enhances corrosion resistance through coating, and is commonly used in outdoor, fishing and other scenarios.
Coated steel wire rope: Wrapping PVC, PE and other plastic layers on the outer layer of the steel wire rope, it has anti-corrosion,
wear-resistant, and insulation properties, and is commonly used in elevators, amusement facilities, agricultural machinery and other fields.

2. Differentiate By Structure:
Single strand steel wire rope: made by twisting a layer of steel wire, with a simple structure and strong rigidity, but poor flexibility,
suitable for use as a component that requires high strength and rigidity such as pulling wires and rods.
Multi strand steel wire rope: made by twisting multiple strands of sub ropes around the central core, with better flexibility and fatigue
resistance, it is the mainstream choice for lifting, hoisting, transportation and other scenarios.
Common multi strand structures include 6 × 19, 6 × 37, 8 × 19, etc. The numbers represent the number of sub ropes and the number
of steel wires per strand, respectively. The larger the value, the stronger the flexibility of the steel wire rope.
Anti rotation steel wire rope: using a special cross twisting process, it can effectively reduce the rotation phenomenon during lifting,
and is commonly used in equipment with high stability requirements such as tower cranes and port cranes.

3. Distinguish By Purpose:
Steel wire rope for lifting: With high strength, impact resistance, and wear resistance, it is often used in conjunction with hooks
and pulleys, and is used in construction, port loading and unloading, mining lifting, and other scenarios.
Elevator steel wire rope: requires high flexibility, wear resistance, and stability, usually using a multi strand structure of 8 or more
strands, with some adding a plastic coating layer to ensure the safety and stability of elevator operation.
Fishing wire rope: focuses on corrosion resistance and wear resistance, mostly made of galvanized or stainless steel materials,
used for offshore operations such as trawling, fencing, and fixing aquaculture facilities.
Prestressed engineering: such as the prestressed steel strand produced by our company, which generates prestress through
pre tensioning, is commonly used for reinforcing concrete structures such as bridges, dams, and high-rise buildings.

4. Distinguish By Twisting Method:
Same direction twisted steel wire rope: The direction in which the steel wire is twisted into strands is the same as the direction in
which the strands are twisted into a rope. The surface is smooth and has good wear resistance, but it is easy to loosen and rotate,
making it suitable for scenarios with stable tension.
Interactive twisted steel wire rope: The direction of the steel wire twisted into strands is opposite to the direction of the strand
twisted into rope, with strong anti rotation performance and is not easy to loosen. It is the first choice for dynamic operations such
as lifting and hoisting.
Mixed twisted steel wire rope: Some sub ropes are twisted in the same direction, while others are twisted alternately, balancing
wear resistance and rotation resistance. However, the production process is complex and the application is relatively limited.
