Electro galvanized steel strand, 1x7, 2.0mm to 4.0mm, for light messenger and tensioning work where a clean bright finish counts.
Electro galvanizing and hot dip galvanizing are different processes with different results, and confusing them causes most of the complaints we hear about thin coatings. Electro plating deposits a thin, very uniform zinc layer that leaves a bright surface and does not change the wire diameter appreciably. Hot dip gives a much thicker coating but a duller, slightly irregular surface.
For an indoor messenger, a display tension wire or a small telecom strand, the electro product is usually the right answer: dimensionally precise, bright, and clean in the hand. What it is not is a coating for coastal or buried service. We say that plainly, because a buyer who expects twenty years outdoors from a twenty gram coating will be disappointed whoever supplied it.

Typical use is indoor messenger and support strand for light cable, display and lighting tensioning where the wire is visible, and small tension lines in equipment and furniture where a clean finish is expected.
It is also used inside ducts and cabinets as a pull and support strand, and in sheltered telecom installations where the environment is dry and the priority is dimensional consistency rather than decades of weather resistance.
Coating mass is verified by stripped weight per lot, and adhesion is checked by a wrap test around a mandrel of the specified diameter. A plated coating that flakes on wrapping will flake in service at every bend, so the wrap test is a practical production check rather than a formality.
Diameter is measured with a laser gauge on the finished strand at three points per reel, and breaking load is tested per lot. Bright plated strand shows handling marks easily, so reels are inspected for surface scuffing before packing.
Packaging and DeliveryPlywood reels or coils of 1000m to 5000m, wrapped in paper then VCI film to keep the bright finish from damp during shipment. Reels are marked with size, length, coating type and lot number, and we avoid metal strapping in direct contact with the strand.
1x19 galvanized steel strand made from high-carbon steel. Offers high tensile strength (1270-1670MPa), excellent corrosion resistance, and low ductility. Ideal for power lines, communication cables, and farm structures. Certified with ISO, CE, and SGS.
High-strength 1.0mm galvanized steel strand with 7x0.33 structure. Offers excellent corrosion resistance, flexibility, and precise tension control. Ideal for fiber optic cable reinforcement. Certified with ISO, CE, SGS standards.
1x3 galvanized steel strand offers superior corrosion resistance with hot-dip zinc coating and 40% better anti-torsion strength. Lightweight design for easy handling, available in 2.9-4.0mm diameters. Certified with ISO, CE, SGS for power, construction, and transportation applications.
