8x19+WS PVC Coated Galvanized Steel Wire Rope 4mm Cable Clotheslines and light strings tend to fail from the inside out. The steel core corrodes, a few wires snap, and within a season the line sags or drops a run of bulbs. Coating a galvanised 8x19+WS rope in PVC attacks that problem directly: the zinc under the jacket does the corrosion work, and the plastic skin keeps rain, garden hose spray and coastal salt off the metal.
