UV Resistant PE Coated Galvanized Steel Wire Rope 1x7 2.5mm
Trellis wire earns its keep or fails quietly. A line that stretches after one season, or whose coating chalks and cracks under glass, means the grower is re-stringing rows instead of pruning them. We coat a rigid 1x7 galvanised core in UV-stabilised polyethylene for this job. The single strand of seven wires holds a straight, taut line with almost no give, so tomato, cucumber and vine rows stay where they were set. The PE jacket is formulated for outdoor exposure, staying flexible instead of going brittle in strong sun, and it cushions the wire against the plant ties and clips used to train stems. Supplied green to blend into the crop, with other colours on request, the rope is coated to about 3.5mm. Tension it once and it stays put across the growing cycle.
