Product Description
Security cable has to do two jobs at once: resist a pair of cutters and leave the thing it locks undamaged. A 7x7 galvanised core handles the first. Seven strands of seven wires pack enough steel into a 4mm section to make casual cutting slow and noisy, while the modest flexibility lets the cable coil up for storage without turning into a spring. The black PVC jacket handles the second job, cushioning the line so it does not scratch a bike frame, a gate, a ladder or a rack. Coated to roughly 5mm, it threads easily through U-locks, padlock loops and hasps. Many of our customers pair the coil with their own lock hardware, so the cable is supplied bare or fitted with swaged eyes and a ferrule to your length. Galvanising under the plastic keeps the core from corroding at the cut ends.

Applications
Used for bike and motorbike lock cables, gate and ladder security lines, trailer and equipment locks, retail display security loops, and general purpose locking where both strength and surface protection are wanted.
